Sanrio Characters in Lotte World Aquarium: Mermaid Party runs from Thursday, September 4, through Sunday, November 29, 2026. Herald Business and Newsis, citing Lotte World Aquarium, call it an 87-day fall festa. This is the mermaid-theme second collab — not last year’s marine-costume run.
What to see
My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and Hangyodon appear as mermaids. Press notes a roughly 2 m My Melody balloon at the entrance, “Pompompurin’s Invitation” with a receipt-style photo print on B2, and a “Moonlit Shell Castle” photo zone by the sea-turtle area.
Saturdays during the festa: My Melody photo time at the main tank on B2 — 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Paid extras include Wow Photo four-cuts (B1), photo cards at the Wow Photo Cart (B2), and a mission AR package with a random ID-card keyring reward at AquaShop (B1).
A B2 pop-up sells five collab SKUs (plush keyring, random can badge, keycap keyring, T-shirt, stickers). AquaShop carries 70+ Sanrio items. Limited F&B includes soft-serve, a berry chocolate frappe, and My Melody / Hangyodon dalgona. Treat stock as live.
