A 16-meter art balloon will sit on the east basin of Seokchon Lake from Wednesday, September 3, through Sunday, September 27, 2026. Songpa-gu announced it as a Seoul Fashion Week special program for NCT’s 10th debut anniversary.
What you will see
Lotte Holdings and SM Entertainment host the display. Songpa-gu supports it. The balloon is 16 meters tall and 14.5 meters wide. Press coverage says it uses shapes and colors tied to Seoul Fashion Week and NCT.
It floats on the water of Seokchon Lake’s east basin (Dongho), in Songpa-gu, next to the Lotte World Tower / Jamsil area. This is outdoor public art. There is no ticket desk listed in the Songpa-linked reports. Check before you visit if a cordon or queue appears on busy nights.
Hours and night lighting
Viewing hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day through September 27. Lighting turns on from 7:00 p.m., so the balloon reads differently after dark.
Separately, SM’s anniversary plan adds Pearl Neo Champagne lighting around the east lake and the lakeside stage from September 7 to September 25. That is a wider shore glow, not only the balloon. Confirm live dates on NCT or Songpa notices if the weather or schedule shifts.
How to get there
Seokchon Lake sits in Songpa-gu, beside Lotte World and Lotte World Tower. Use Seokchon Station (Lines 8 and 9), or walk from Jamsil Station (Lines 2 and 8). Search 석촌호수 동호 or Seokchon Lake East on Naver Map. Google Maps can miss the exact lakeside path.
Lotte World Tower’s Seoul Fashion Week Jamsil program runs September 3–6 nearby, with NCT stage-costume and props displays in that same window. The lake balloon stays up longer, through September 27.

Songpa-gu plans a prize event every Saturday and Sunday from September 5 to September 27, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., near the Songpa Tourism Information Center at Seokchon Lake.
