What to See at Seoul Botanic Park

If this is your first visit, it is best to start with the greenhouse. The greenhouse is the main attraction of Seoul Botanic Park, where you can see tropical and Mediterranean plants. Since it is indoors, it is less affected by the weather and is also a good place to take photos.

If you have more time, you can also walk around the Themed Garden and Lake Garden. However, if your schedule is short, the greenhouse and Themed Garden are enough for a simple visit.

How to Get to Seoul Botanic Park

Take Subway Line 9 or the Airport Railroad and get off at Magongnaru Station. From the station, you can walk to Seoul Botanic Park.

For foreign travelers, it is better to use Naver Map or Kakao Map together with Google Maps. In Korea, local map apps are often more accurate for subway exits, walking routes, and public transportation directions.

Best Time to Visit

Seoul Botanic Park is a good place to visit when it is raining, too hot, or too cold outside. Since weekends can be crowded with families, weekday mornings or early afternoons are better if you prefer a quieter visit.

It may not be a must-see attraction for first-time visitors to Seoul, but it is worth considering if you have extra time or if you are planning to visit areas near Gimpo Airport, Hongdae, or Yeouido.
